Location: Tulsa 

Painter Helper Pay Rate and Hours:

• $18- $20/hour depending on experience
• Monday-Friday 5:30am-2:30pm (Overtime is available)

Painter Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist Industrial Painters with preparing equipment and components for painting.
• Clean, sand, grind, and prepare surfaces to ensure proper paint adhesion and finish quality.
• Mask and protect surfaces, fittings, and components before painting operations.
• Move materials, parts, and equipment throughout the production area as needed.
• Assist with mixing paints, primers, and coatings according to specifications.
• Load and unload parts from paint booths and workstations.
• Maintain painting tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
• Perform touch-up work and basic painting tasks under the direction of experienced painters.
• Inspect work areas and materials for cleanliness and readiness prior to painting.
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and environmental regulations.
• Assist with other shop and production duties as assigned.

Painter Required Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience working in an industrial manufacturing or fabrication setting.
• Familiarity with paint booths, spray equipment, and industrial coating processes.
• Experience operating grinders, sanders, and other surface preparation tools.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Understanding of painting safety procedures and proper use of PPE.
• Willingness to learn advanced industrial painting techniques and quality standards.
