Role Description: The High School Science Teacher is a full-time, on-site role located in Pittsburgh, PA. This educator plans and delivers engaging science lessons aligned with curriculum standards and the academy’s STEAM-focused mission. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, assessing student work, providing feedback, and maintaining accurate records of student progress. The Science Teacher collaborates with colleagues to integrate science with other STEAM disciplines, differentiates instruction to meet diverse learning needs, and participates in professional development and school-wide initiatives. Additional duties include communicating regularly with families and contributing to a positive, inclusive school culture that supports college and career readiness.
