Accounts Receivable SpecialistWe are partnering with an established manufacturing company in El Segundo seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their Corporate Accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys managing customer accounts, resolving discrepancies, and supporting cash flow initiatives within a fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate will have experience with full-cycle accounts receivable, collections, cash applications, account reconciliations, and ERP systems.What You'll Be DoingProcess daily cash receipts, ACH payments, wire transfers, and lockbox transactionsApply customer payments accurately and timelyManage customer accounts and maintain accurate account recordsConduct B2B collections activities while maintaining positive customer relationshipsInvestigate and resolve payment discrepancies, short pays, chargebacks, and deductionsReconcile AR accounts and customer statementsMonitor aging reports and follow up on past-due accountsCollaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations teams to resolve billing issuesPrepare AR reports and assist with month-end close activitiesSupport audits and provide documentation as neededIdentify opportunities to improve AR processes and cash flow managementWhat We're Looking For3+ years of Accounts Receivable experienceManufacturing, distribution, logistics, or inventory-based industry experience preferredStrong collections and cash application experienceExperience managing high-volume customer accountsERP system experience required (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, or similar)Intermediate Excel skills including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and reportingExcellent communication and customer service skillsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilitiesPreferred QualificationsCorporate AR experienceExperience with deductions management and chargebacksCredit and collections experienceAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferredWhy This Opportunity?Stable and growing manufacturing companyCollaborative accounting and finance teamOpportunity to make an impact on cash flow and process improvementsCompetitive compensation and benefits- Medical Dental, 401k, Holiday, PTOCareer growth potential within a corporate accounting environmentIf you're an Accounts Receivable professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys building strong customer relationships while driving collections and cash application accuracy, we'd love to hear from you.
